"Colleen, Kevin and I would just like to say a tremendous thank you for an incredible week at your wonderful ranch! I
must say it was definitely the highlight of our summer and probably the best vacation we've ever had! The horseback
riding was the greatest ever! I don't know how we will ever be able to go on a sloooooow head-to-tail trailride in the
midwest again. We are definitely spoiled now. We came mainly for the riding but ended up just loving your little corner
of the world...with all the extra's we never expected...like baby kittens in the barn, Skya nad Chester(the dogs), the fun
of cattle round-ups and most of all your wonderful family. Everyone was so nice and you treated us pretty much like
extended family:) That was so nice. All your kids being so genuinely nice and teaching us sooooo much about the
horses and everything else inbetween. We were very touched by your kindness.
We have GREAT pictures and have been showing everyone for weeks now! I think some of my friends are seriously

Our family vacation to Granite Creek Ranch exceeded all of our expectations, hopes and dreams. So much so, that
when we asked our three children (ages 7 to 11) if they'd like to return to Disney World or return to the ranch, they
unanimously agreed that we'd like to return to the ranch. It was so refreshing to step away from our normal,
hectic lifestyle, turn off the TV and video games, stop the running around to all the sporting activities, and spend
some peaceful, quality time together. We experienced things that we'd never done before and it was the simple
pleasures that remain most memorable 6 months after leaving the ranch. The kids thoroughly enjoyed playing with
the kittens, romping around the barn on the rope swing, archery lessons with Sam, snipe hunting, and of course, all
the time that they spent with Bret & Sabrina on the horses. They still fondly speak of Candy, who wouldn't trot, of
Abby and Rusty. For my husband and me, we too enjoyed riding the horses immensely and found the chasing of
the cows (our efforts could hardly be called herding) to be so much fun, bordering on therapeutic!! The scenery is
truly gorgeous. We enjoyed the nightly campfires, chatting with new friends, singing with Nessie and eating too
much of Tami’s great cooking. We thank you for allowing us the opportunity to spend time with your family, for
helping us to instill values that are so important for youngsters to learn, and for helping us to create memories that
will last a lifetime.
