| Our family vacation to Granite Creek Ranch exceeded all of our expectations, hopes and dreams. So much so, that when we asked our three children (ages 7 to 11) if they'd like to return to Disney World or return to the ranch, they unanimously agreed that we'd like to return to the ranch. It was so refreshing to step away from our normal, hectic lifestyle, turn off the TV and video games, stop the running around to all the sporting activities, and spend some peaceful, quality time together. We experienced things that we'd never done before and it was the simple pleasures that remain most memorable 6 months after leaving the ranch. The kids thoroughly enjoyed playing with the kittens, romping around the barn on the rope swing, archery lessons with Sam, snipe hunting, and of course, all the time that they spent with Bret & Sabrina on the horses. They still fondly speak of Candy, who wouldn't trot, of Abby and Rusty. For my husband and me, we too enjoyed riding the horses immensely and found the chasing of the cows (our efforts could hardly be called herding) to be so much fun, bordering on therapeutic!! The scenery is truly gorgeous. We enjoyed the nightly campfires, chatting with new friends, singing with Nessie and eating too much of Tami’s great cooking. We thank you for allowing us the opportunity to spend time with your family, for helping us to instill values that are so important for youngsters to learn, and for helping us to create memories that will last a lifetime. | We had a truly remarkable week with you at Granite Creek Ranch. Horseback Riding was the reason for us to come. What we found was much better. We became part of the ranch and even your family. On the way back home our children pondered what they had to do to be adopted by Nessie and Carl. I still have the bruises from trying to wrangle the calves. The kids swooned over the horses and the kittens and puppies will remain forever in our memories. A great adventure with a wonderful family in a beautiful part of Idaho. | Thanks to Carl and Nessie, all the kids and hired hands, Janie and Sarah for the wonderful ranch experience I received while in your beautiful mountains. I was in the saddle 6-8 hours a days and was glad to do it. Everyone went out of their way to provide an everlasting experience. The accomadations were great and the food was beyond that. | I wanted to let you know that Jennifer, the boys and I enjoyed our stay at Granite Creek Guest Ranch. Jennifer and the boys have told me that they would like to return there some time in the future. Jennifer asked the boys which they liked better: the ranch or Disney World? They both replied that they liked the ranch better. We were very impressed with all of your staff members: those in your family, as well as Janie and Sarah.
